On-Grid Solar
Rooftop System
Connect to the grid, earn from net metering, and pay near-zero electricity bills — the most cost-effective solar investment.
How an On-Grid Solar System Works
An on-grid (grid-tied) solar system connects your rooftop solar panels directly to the electricity grid through a string or microinverter. During daylight hours, the solar panels generate DC electricity which the inverter converts to AC power for your home. If you generate more than you consume, the surplus is exported to the grid and credited to your electricity account through net metering — effectively running your meter backwards. At night or during low-generation periods, you draw from the grid as normal. Because there is no battery bank, on-grid systems are the lowest-cost solar option with the fastest payback period (3–5 years). They are eligible for the maximum PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana subsidy, which can cover 30–40% of the system cost for residential installations.
Why Choose Kamal Solar On-Grid Solar Rooftop System?
Lowest Upfront Cost
No battery means the most affordable solar system — fastest payback period of all rooftop solar types (3–5 years).
Net Metering Credits
Export surplus daytime generation to the grid. Your DISCOM credits this at the applicable feed-in tariff against your bill.
Maximum MNRE Subsidy
Full PM Surya Ghar subsidy applies: ₹30,000 for 1–2 kW, ₹60,000 for 2–3 kW, ₹78,000 for 3+ kW residential systems.
High-Efficiency Panels
Mono PERC and TOPCon panels rated 545–660 Wp with 20–23% efficiency — maximum generation per square foot of roof.
App-Based Monitoring
Real-time generation, export, and consumption data accessible from your phone through the inverter manufacturer's app.
25-Year Panel Warranty
Linear performance warranty guarantees less than 0.7% annual degradation — panels still performing at 80%+ after 25 years.
